Youth CREATE tutors, Connor Linden & Kelly Middleton-Evans are filling this half term with lots of bubbly fun as they prepare for their final rehearsals of their 3-man show 'Professor Pop's Bubble School'.

The show is an all singing, all dancing journey that will take little trainee bubble scientists through a world of bubble wonder which audiences young and old will love!

We believe that you can never stop learning-even if you're a tutor! Which is why we encourage everyone to stay active in the industry to gain invaluable performing experience to pass on to all of our members!

The Professor (Connor) and his students (Kelly) take to the stage for a bubbletastic bonanza of maths, science and most importantly, bubbly fun! Expect the unexpected as the Pop entertains and engages with an unriavalled array of bubble art, smoke fun and even Professor Pop's Bubbly Hair Salon(?)!

Congratulations to Athena Stam, who will be playing the title role of ‘Jack’ in Loughton’s half term pantomime production ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’!

Athena has been a long term member, volunteer and most recently, support worker for Youth CREATE and after purely being trained by us, we are so pleased to see her off doing more professional work!

“The tutors at Youth CREATE actively look for performing jobs and experiences to add to your repertoire. Thanks to them, I’ve been lucky enough to have acting jobs AND be founded/recommended by other local performers and directors. If you have some time during half term, it would be great to see some familiar faces come to watch Jack and the Beanstalk. It’s been a barrel of laughs working with a new team and using props I’ve never used before- like puppets! This show will be just as enjoyable for the adults as the children-trust me!”

A MINI pantomime about a GIGANTIC adventure!

Jack and the Beanstalk

28th May- 2nd June, 11am & 2pm daily at Lopping Hall, Loughton.

Adult £12

Child/Con £10

We are very excited about a project that the Funshop will be involved in during the Summer Term.

‘Al’s Adventures in Wasteland’ highlights the problems our World is currently experiencing with pollution, waste and lack of conservation.

The Children's Musical features scenes about wastefulness of resources, air pollution, sea pollution, deforestation, the melting of the Ice Caps and our over-dependency on oil- all within an hour!

Aimed at 6-12 year olds, ‘Al’s Adventures in Wasteland’ was first performed in Italy in 2016.

We have been asked to be a part of the local team to present it here, for its UK premiere during the Summer Term of 2018 at Rhodes Arts Complex!

During the term, our Funshop students will learn the songs, make percussion instruments from recycled materials, create props and decorate T shirts, before joining together to perform with the professional cast, at Rhodes Arts Complex to a paying public.

Al's Adventures in Wasteland will be at the Rhodes Arts Complex, Bishops Stortford on 5th & 6th July at 6pm.

30 Years of offering personal and social development for children and young people of all abilities, through creative & performing arts is certainly one to celebrate!

Showcasing all the skills we have been working on in class, in our new show, there will be a theme of ‘past productions’. Over the past 3 decades, Youth Create have put on 100’s of performances and in Est. 1987, we will be highlighting the best bits with our own modern twist!

We would like to invite all parents, grandparents, friends and neighbours to our show to share the young talent we have at Youth CREATE.

Support our local young talent as this year's generation take centre stage in this vibrant variety show.

After 6 year's break, we're back with Youth CREATE's Summer Course and the interest received from the public couldn't have been better!

5 different themed days of creative & performing arts from 31st July-4th August for ages 4-11 years.

The week is commencing with Secret Agent Day followed by Disney Day, 'Get Me Out Of Here', Rock Star Day and finishing with Wacky Science.

As always, Youth CREATE's aim is to make performing & creative arts accessible and affordable for all. This is obvious in our discounted classes at £4 an hour with no other hidden cost. But thanks to the fantastic funding from East Herts Council, we've been able to make it possible at our Summer Course too!

We've been able to offer this course to the local community at only £10 per day and with a 50% sibling discount!

This has definitely not gone a miss. All 300 spaces have been booked up with still 2 weeks to go until the start date!

For those of you that didn't manage to book a space in time, take a look at our events page 'Youth Create Does Parties' as we still have a few interactive cinema events on sale.

And for those that did manage to book a space, 'Congratulations' and we cannot wait to meet you!
