Our Typical Party Format
The team will arrive 30 mins prior to party start time to set up. When the guests have arrived they are introduced to the YCDP Team and explain all the fun activities they will be taking part in. The group will then take part in the CREATIVE activity. 1 by 1 each guest will be taken out for their ARTISTIC activity until all guests have done both activities.
Approximately 1 hour into the party it’s time for food (they will be ready for this break!). The team intermittently interact with the children during food whilst prepping for the second half of the party.
After food, everyone will come together for their final activity. We’ll either have a performance for the grown-ups collecting the guests or to end the party, everybody, including the grown-ups, will join us in our version of the Hokey Cokey which is followed by Happy Birthday and the Birthday cake. Group photos are taken, gift bags (if booked) are given out and we say goodbye to everyone!

The team will arrive approx. 20 mins prior to party start time to set up. To begin, warm-up parachute games are played (age/theme related) while guests arrive and settle. They are then introduced to the YCDP Team and play larger group games and activities. For the younger ages, we don’t have a winner for the games – it’s more about them taking part and learning how to play them!
After 1 hour of games/activities they break for food (they will be ready for this break!). The characters intermittently interact with the children during food.
After food, they’ll participate in fun dances with the characters and play some more games.
To end the party, everybody, including the grown-ups, are asked to join us in our version of the Hokey Cokey which is followed by Happy Birthday and the Birthday cake. Group photos are taken, party bag (if booked) are given out and we say goodbye to everyone!

If booking our 1 hour Package, all the above applies except the team will do the Hokey Cokey, Happy Birthday and Photos at the end of the hour.

Our Typical Party Format
The Decorating team will arrive 1 hour prior to party start time to transform the venue. The Entertainment, Creative and Catering team will arrive 30 mins prior to start time to get set up.
To begin, warm-up parachute games are played (age/theme related) while guests arrive and settle. They are then introduced to the YCDP Team and play larger group games and activities. For the younger ages, we don’t have a winner for the games – it’s more about them taking part and learning how to play them!
Throughout the party, guests are invited to get their face painted, we have lots of themed designs for them to choose from!
After about 50mins of games/activities they break for food (they will be ready for this break!). The food will already be plated for the children to sit and enjoy. The characters intermittently interact with the children during food and assist with drink refills and food challenges! If you are planning to cut the birthday cake for guests to take home, we will sing Happy Birthday here (instead of at the end of the party) Our caterer will be on hand to prepare even slices into the gift bags for your guests!
After food, they’ll participate in fun dances with the characters, play some more games and continue getting their faces painted.
To end the party, everybody, including the grown-ups, are asked to join us in our version of the Hokey Cokey. Group photos are taken, gift bags are given out and we say goodbye to everyone!
All our team members will be on hand to pack away decorations, tidy away kit and clear away the food table. We will always ensure that everyone who wants a face paint has had one before we leave. 2 hours with 2 Face Painters is the perfect amount of time for 30 children to have the design they’d like!
All we ask from you is to assist putting up and packing away tables and chairs for food and sweep the floor at the end of the party. Other than that, sit back and enjoy your child’s party-we will take care of the rest!
